About Me!

I am Danielle Abernathy.  I married my wonderful husband in 2010!!! I am a graduate of  Appalachian State University. I am from Valdese, NC. I am from a very large family and I am definitely a very family oriented person. I have three sisters, a step brother, and a niece that is four! I love animals and I have two pets Sinckers (dog) and Jasmine (cat)! I have always enjoyed school and longed to be a teacher for so long. I love working with kids!

My Family is a big part of my life. I spend the majority of my time with them. My parents are divorced. My oldest sister Heather is nine years older than me and from my dad’s first marriage. Heather married Shane Autrey in September of 2009 and she also has a six year old daughter named Emma who is a spitting image of me when I was that age. My other older sister Jennifer  is two years older than me and is married to Chris Hiatt. Jennifer is a graduate of Duke University’s Divinity School and Chris recently got a job in Catawba County schools. My younger sister Anna is two years younger than me and is dating Kyle Miller. Anna goes to Lees McRae College and is studying to be a youth minister. My mom (Tannya) works for Blue Ridge Health Care Systems. She has always stood by my side and supported me through everything. My dad (Dennis) is the chief of T ripple Community Fire Department  and is re-married to Rocky (my step mom) who works for the personnel department of Burke County Public Schools. My grandparents have all pasted except for my mom’s mom (Faye) who is another person who has supported me all of my life.

How I ACT???

I am a very responsible person.  I am a very friendly person. I am a very emotional person. I also have a very motherly personality that tends to get on some people’s nerves. I love to be creative as long as I can be organized.

Things I do not care for!!!

Some of the things that I do not care for would include snakes, spiders, and other creepy crawly insects. The slithering of snakes along with their beady little eyes make me crawl in my own skin. The creepy crawly insects and spiders make me cringe when I see even a picture of them.

I do not care for cigarettes partially because I am asthmatic and also because I just believe that they are disgusting habits. I also do not care for cigarettes because they cause a habit that can lead to cancer.

I like most vegetables except for tomatoes unless they are cooked.

I loath to hear  children crying whether they are hurt or not, to hear a child cry it breaks my heart.

What I see in the reflection in front of me???

I see hazel eyes that are covered by royal blue contacts so that I always have sea blue eyes.

I see olive colored skin like a normal sun baked Italian.

I see flowing curls that are sandy blond and long like the days yet to come.

I see a average sized woman whom is a bit on the short side, but that is okay because it gives me unique character.
